Coloured Concrete

For a contemporary and modern look, coloured concrete is a popular choice. Besides looking great, it is durable and will last a long time. It is particularly popular for driveways, but can also be used for pathways, alfresco slabs, and pool surrounds.

Coloured concrete is created by adding metal oxides to the mix in the concrete truck’s mixing bowl to achieve the desired hue before it is delivered to site and poured. The coloured concrete we use is known as “vertically integrated” or “full depth coloured concrete” as the colour is blended throughout the entire mix, and not just applied to the surface. One of the major advantages of coloured concrete is its smooth yet brushed finish, making it non-slip and comfortable underfoot. It also offers greater depth and customisation compared to plain white concrete. When the colour is chosen appropriately, it blends seamlessly with its surroundings providing a subtle contrast.
